Master Jan Hus Church in Uherské Brod

The oldest surviving Gothic sacral monument in the city of Uherský Brod was originally dedicated to St. John the Baptist. It is located on the southern perimeter of the historic part of the city. In 1589, a tower was added in the Renaissance style.
 
An early Baroque reconstruction took place in the 17th century (1667). Evidence of her is in the Latin memorial inscription, where it is stated - dean Václav Polontius.
