Kopanina: observation tower
The Kopanina lookout tower was built at the end of the 19th century by Czech tourists from Turnov. It is a cylindrical brick building. It reaches a height of 21 meters with a viewing platform at a height of 18 meters. 79 steps and a wooden ladder lead to it. There is a beautiful view of Ještěd, the Jizera Mountains, Krkonoše, Kozákov, Bezděz, Trosky, Říp and Milešovka. The lookout tower is accessible all year round with a refundable key deposit of 100 CZK.…
