Komárov is a small agricultural village with 160 inhabitants and can be found northwest of the town of Šternberk and on the border between Nízké Jeseník and Hané. The village is located along the road and between the villages of Mladějovice and Řídeč. In the eastern direction, near the village, the vast forest of the Sovinecko Nature Park stretches.
