Kněževes is a small foothill village located on the imaginary border between Bohemia and Moravia, under the peaks of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, north of the town of Olešnice and northwest of the town of Boskovice. Today's village of Kněževes was created in 1960 by the merger of three small villages, namely Kněževse, Jobovy Lhota and Veselka, and together they have 190 inhabitants.
