Kněževes Castle
The remains of a defunct castle near the green tourist sign on the route between Dolní Lhota near Svojanov and Kněževsí above the valley of the Kavinské potok.
The castle is mentioned for the first time in 1280, its origin is estimated at the beginning of the 13th century to the period of colonization. The castle with the tower belonged to the nearby royal castle of Svojanov and probably served to protect the land border. The castle probably disappeared already at the end of the 13th century.…
