The first mention of the village of Klec dates from 1388. The Foglhauz castle once stood nearby, which was abandoned after 1500, and apparently gave rise to its current name. In the vicinity of the inconspicuous village, which today has only 200 inhabitants, there are beautiful ponds with the names Faith, Hope, Love...
