Želiv Monastery.
The monastery in Želiv was founded in the 12th century. It burned down several times and was always rebuilt. The most significant restoration was in the years 1713-1720 and was carried out by JB Santini. In the 50s, the monastery was abolished and there was a psychiatric hospital. In 1990, the monastery was restored and is currently undergoing extensive reconstruction.
