Kerhartice
Kerhartice is an elongated village located in the valley of the Bystré stream about 3 km south of Česká Kamenice, of which it is a local part. It is first mentioned in 1382 and its original name Gersdorf was apparently derived from the locator Gerhard. According to local tradition, the Assenburg fortress once stood in the middle of the village, traces of which were said to be still visible in the middle of the 19th century.
