Studnice is (it should really be plural) a small settlement south below Teplické skaly and Čáp. From an administrative point of view, it is included under the municipal office in Jívka. The village was first mentioned in 1542, named after three strong springs of cold water in its vicinity. Until 1849, Studnice belonged to the Skály church estate. After the demise of the estate, it belonged to the Broumovské district, from 1960 to the Trutnov district.…
