Lookout tower on Čápu
With its height of 786 meters above sea level, Vrch Čáp is the highest place in the Adršpašsko-Teplické rocks. During the First Republic, a small wooden lookout tower stood here, but it soon fell apart. In the 50s, a triangulation tower still stood here. After that, nothing for decades. It wasn't until 2014 that the peak of Čápu received a new lookout tower, thanks to the project Places full of lookouts in the Glacensis Euroregion.
