Lake Fall
Jezerní slát is a very nice distributary upland peatland that stretches in the mountain saddle between Kvilda and Horská Kvilda. The lake marsh is part of the Šumava National Park. The peatland was created in the Ice Age on a granite base. In some parts, the peat reaches a thickness of up to 8 meters. Until 1934, peat was mined in the eastern part of the territory.
