Maple tree
About 11 km northeast of Železná Ruda, the small village of Javorná is located on the road to the district town of Klatovy at an altitude of 842 m.
It originally belonged to the Royal Forest and there were numerous bachelor courts. Here used to be the seat of the main royal regent of the eight royal regents. There were several glass smelters in the vicinity, the oldest of which were established in the 15th century.
