Jaroměřice (near Jevíček) – reconciliation cross

This massive stone cross is roughly hewn and is said to have been erected right after the two heralds passed through on their way to Bohemia. In reality, however, this sandstone cross was apparently created only in the 17th century, as an atonement for some local tragic event.
