Jaroměř - Boučko's puppet theater
The Jaroměř Puppet Theater with its permanent puppet stage is one of the oldest in the Czech lands. Its history dates back to 1918, the founder of the theater was teacher Rudolf Bouček, after whom it was named in 1936. The first performances took place in the Falcons' gymnasium. In 1924, the ensemble acquired an unused garden house, which was reconstructed, Boučko's puppets are based in these premises...
