Ivančice - city walls

After the unfortunate experiences of the Cuman invasion in 1304, the construction of city walls was also started in Ivančice. The simple walls were later reinforced with six semi-circular bastions at the corners of an irregular oblong polygon and originally had only two gates on the main thoroughfare.
