Hustopeče - Triton's fountain

It is located in the lower part of Dukelské náměstí and its shape creates an interesting aesthetic element here. This is a Renaissance fountain that was built here in 1595 and is popularly called "Žumberák". For centuries, it was one of the few sources of drinking water for the city's inhabitants. The dominant feature of the fountain is a column with a statue of the god Triton.
