In the past, this square used to be the center of the city, because until the eighteenth century there was a single-nave parish church with a prismatic tower decorated with a mine. Originally, the Gothic stone temple was dedicated to St. John the Baptist. There was a cemetery around, but it was canceled after the church was demolished. The new Baroque church was built on the city's main square - today Masaryk Square - and the interesting thing is that its floor plan...
