Brumov Castle - FABULOUS CASTLE

Brumov Castle is located above the town of Brumov-Bylnice. It was built by Bishop Bruno of Olomouc as a stronghold against the Hungarian border in the 13th century. In that period, the castle consisted of a palace with a massive tower, which has been preserved to this day. The castle is preserved, extensive archeological research is being done here, and some parts have been restored. It has an interesting exhibition in underground spaces. Parking is under the castle.
