Houska (Blatce) – Dante's Hell called Peklé na Houska

Hell is most often associated with the last judgment, fairy tales, Dante's Divine Comedy and the mysterious castle of Houska in Českolipska. There must be that mysterious hell gate somewhere here, and surely hell itself is there - at least the wooden, carved and mechanical one. It is therefore an attraction similar to movable nativity scenes, only the baby Jesus, the animals and the three kings are missing here. These characters were replaced here by a ferryman…
