The monument to the fallen of the First World War is located on the left side of the road Chrast - Hlinsko in the direction of Hlinsko in front of the fire tank. The monument, which consists of a sandstone statue of a grieving woman and a granite plinth, is the work of sculptor Jaroslav Znojemský from Vysoké Mýt. The monument was unveiled on September 1, 28.9.1921. It cost 8 CZK to make. A monument that bears this inscription: To those through whose corpses golden freedom to our homeland...
