Horka is a small village and, together with the attached settlements of Hlína and Mezihoří, has 400 inhabitants. The village can be found on the edge of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, in the foothills of the Iron Mountains, southwest of the town of Chrast. A vast and picturesque forest stretches south and west from the village. There is a small pond at the southern edge of the village and the larger Horecký pond is located east of the village.
