Hořice - Expivovar (former brewery)

The building of the former Hořice brewery can be found approx. 300 meters east of the end of the square. This is a valuable historical area, which is built of sandstone from the nearby quarry of St. Joseph. It was built in the years 1885 - 1895, it served the purposes of brewing beer until 1976, when it was rebuilt into a production plant for soft drinks.... In 2002, it was listed as a protected cultural monument. Today the site is in private hands...
