Hořice - Alois Hlavaté memorial plaque
The memorial plaque of Aloise Hlavaté (1906-2001), a prisoner of the communist regime and a fighter for democracy and freedom, is located on the building of the nursing home in Janderova street. Unveiled in 2006 to mark his 100th birthday, which he missed, the plaque bears this text:
"In this house lived Mr. Alois Hlavatý, a patriot, a prisoner of the communist regime and a lifelong fighter for democracy...
