Holasian way

In 1916, when the deciduous floodplain forest between the village of Holasice, the Rajhrad Monastery and the river Svratka - called the Lower Forest - was cut down, the entire deforested area was turned into a field. It was cultivated by the monastery estate. For a long time, the people of Holašič bore the felling of the forest very hard.
