Rajhrad - monument to General Kozyr

During April 23, 1945, during the fighting for Brno, Soviet troops broke through to Rajhrad. Deputy Chief of Staff of the 53rd Transylvanian Corps Guards Major General Maxim Jevsejevič Kozyr received information that the troops had occupied Čeladice. And so the general, together with an adjutant in the rank of captain, a driver and a nurse, set off in a car to inspect the site, knowing that they were going to Čeladice, which was already occupied...
