The history of brewing in Beroun and the family brewery Berounský medvěd

This brewery is our favorite. When we went to Prague, of course we had to stop there for dinner and finally taste all their beers. Beer has been brewed in Beroun since 1295, when King Václav II. elevated Beroun to a royal city and granted it, among other things, the right of brewing and malting.
