Heřmanův Městec and dean's church of St. Bartholomew

The dominant feature not only of Náměstí Míru, but also of the entire town is undoubtedly the dean's church of St. Bartholomew. According to church sources, this is the largest and most important church building in the local parish.

The one-nave church built on the eastern side of the square is approximately 44 meters long and 14 meters wide. It can be seen from afar mainly because of its 42 meter high tower.
