Herálec

Herálec is located about 6 km east of Humpolc in the district of Havlíčkův Brod at an altitude of 566 m.
The town was the original medieval command of the Teutonic Knights.
Originally, the Gothic church of St. Bartholomew from the 13th century used to be fortified. Its present form was created by rebuilding after several fires. The last modifications took place in the years 1873 - 1880, when the last remains of the fortifications were also demolished.
