Tower - castle
The village with the unusual name Věž can be found in the Havlíčkobrod region, more precisely halfway between Havlíčkový Brod and Humpolec. The village is first mentioned in writing in 1404 and today there are just over eight hundred inhabitants. The most important monument here is the baroque Vernier castle from the end of the 17th century, apparently built on the site of a former fortress.
