Gallery Chapel in Hodonín

The Hodonínská Galerie Kaplička is located in the restored baroque chapel of St. Crosses in orchards near Tyršova Street, built in 1720.
It was built by the pious and art-loving Countess Marie Antonie of Liechtenstein, who commissioned a number of other monuments in the city.
The original purpose of the building was a cemetery chapel, then outside the city area, but later, during the Napoleonic Wars, it also functioned as a warehouse...
