Ferdinandsko Castle is located in the Vyškov-Dědice military area, about 1,5 kilometers west of the village of Podivice. It was built in 1757 and served its original purpose until the mid-30s - it was built as a hunting lodge for one of the Olomouc bishops and remained in the possession of the Olomouc bishopric (i.e. archbishopric) until 1935.
