We were returning home after a day's wandering in the western Giant Mountains. It was no accident that we turned off the main road at Peck. The ruins of the castle of the same name from the 14th century rise above this town. And it was here that ČESON, in cooperation with the Pecka Castle Administration and the Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové, organized the European night for bats.
