Pecka - monument to Kryštov Harant

The monument to Kryštov Harant from Polžice and Bezdružice, the former important owner of Pecka Castle, who contributed to its expansion, is located in front of the primary school building. The monument, the author of which is A. Mára, was unveiled in 1921 on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the death, or executions on 21.6.1621. Kryštof Harant was also a musician, writer and traveler, born in 1564.
