Dvořiště - a village in the most northwestern part of the former Nymburk district. Dvoriště is first mentioned in writing, together with Chroustov, Dubečn and Osek, in 1436, when Emperor Zikmund gave the village to Havel of Dřevěnice. Today in the village we can find several preserved old cottages, a stone cross on a Tuscan column from the beginning of the 19th century and a statue of the Virgin Mary from 1851.
