Timber pond

Reviews

Based 0 assessment.
Formerly also called Plavební rybník. An artificially constructed pond with a high dam 1,5 km southwest of Nová Ves in the mountains directly on the summit ridge of the Ore Mountains below the Medvědí skály massif. Previously, it served as a retention tank for the floating of wood down the Albrechtický stream. Today it is used for swimming, but due to the altitude /770 m/ the water is often cold here.
