The classicist Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is located on a small hill right in the middle of the village of Doubice. It was built between 1811 and 1814. In the 60s, the tower partially collapsed due to poor maintenance. Even without the permission of the state authorities, however, already in 20, the priest of Krásnolip, Father Alexej Baláž, started the repair work.
