What would we like in December?

When I wrote about the first cross-country skiing of the new winter season about two summers ago, it almost wrote itself, the abundant snow and the beautiful weather that appeared at the time made me want to record it. But today, however, as an acquaintance said at the bus stop, it's December, what would we like.
