The Baroque sculpture Pieta belongs to a set of five sculptures decorating the sandstone parapet above the Chrudim city drive. Pieta comes from II. half of the 18th century, its author is apparently the local sculptor and stonemason Petr Filip, and it is the only one rated as a sculpture of an average level.
However, even this evaluation did not prevent the Pieta from being included among our protected cultural monuments in May of the year...
