Choltice – bell tower in alpine style

Looking at the wooden bell tower near the castle park in Choltice, we can doubt for a moment whether we are on the border between the Iron Mountains and Polabí. The bell tower is built in an Alpine style, rarely seen in our country. The bell tower with Alpine elements was built in 1863 by Count Theodor of Thun for a simple reason. He paid tribute to the Alps in which his daughter recovered.
