Vyšebrodský dům stands at the mouth of Lanna Street to Senovážné náměstí. It was built in the Neo-Renaissance style in 1863 according to a project by Bernard Gruber. It originally belonged to the Vyšší Brod monastery - Cistercians teaching at the German grammar school in České Budějovice lived here. During the First Republic, the headquarters of the 5th Infantry Division was located in the building, in May 1945 it was the headquarters of the Soviet Army. From the period after World War II…
