České Budějovice - Former power plant and heating plant

Only the administrative building on the corner of Mánesovy and Novohradská streets has survived from the original municipal steam power plant. The municipal steam power plant was built in 1907 - 1908 by Josef Hauptfogel. In its immediate vicinity stood a depot for eight cars of the České Budějovice trams (in operation from 1908 to 1949). Next to the municipal power plant, the area of the České Budějovice heating plant began to be built in 1949.
