Česká Proseč

Česká Proseč - village west of Nová Paka. The name of the village is apparently derived from the settlement that arose on the site of a cut down forest. On the western edge of Česká Proseč, we find a brick chapel with linden trees whose age is estimated at 350 years. Inside the chapel there is a Pieta sculpture, which depicts the Virgin Mary holding Christ taken down from the cross on her lap.
