Česká Lípa - Monastery garden
The monastery garden was created as part of the Augustinian monastery founded in 1627 by Albrecht of Valdštejn. The construction of the garden itself was completed in 1629. The garden served the Augustinians as a place of rest and meditation and, of course, was also used for its purpose. The monastery also had a pharmacy, so the garden provided a fairly rich selection of many types of medicinal herbs.
