Česká Lípa Water Castle

You can find the castle in the center of the city, by the Ploučnice river, in close proximity to the international red tourist route E10. Lipý Water Castle was founded in the 13th century, and only a part of the castle wall and two Gothic gates have survived to this day. In the 16th century, the castle was rebuilt into a Renaissance castle, later it was used as a sugar factory.
