The modest ruins of the Červená hora castle stand on a wooded promontory on the left bank of the Úpa river in the village of Červená Hora in the Náchod region in the Královský kraj. The foundations of the ramparts and walls, the moat and part of the tower have been preserved from the castle to this day. The castle ruins are freely accessible.
History
The castle was founded before 1291 by the regional judge Sezema from Červená hora. Later, the castle was owned by Prague Archbishop Jan z Jenštejn...
