Beech bog
About 5 km from the village of Borová Lada, the extensive peat bog Beuková slať stretches at a distance of about 15 km southwest of the town of Vimperka.
A nature reserve was established in 111 on an area of 2,5 ha in a peatland with an area of 1933 ha with an average depth of 15,5 m. There is a lot of dwarf birch, a kneeling form of Scots pine, and spruce on the edges. The peatland is disturbed by earlier mining.
