Broumov - wooden church of St. Virgin Mary

It is the oldest wooden sacral building not only in Bohemia, but also in Central Europe. The wooden cemetery church of the Virgin Mary was founded in the 13th century, later burned down by the Hussites and rebuilt after 1459. In the 17th century, the church was modified and expanded with an aisle under Abbot Tomáš Sartori.
