Brno - memorial plaque of Karel Čapek

It is located on the facade of a house in Jaselská Street number 5 in the center of Brno near the Red Church. Karel Čapek (1890-1938) lived here in 1905-07 during his high school studies. He transferred to the local grammar school after the conflict at the grammar school in Hradec Králové. The bronze commemorative plaque was created by the academic painter M. Sedlák.
