Obřany is located on the northern outskirts of Brno, remembered as a village in the 13th century. Originally a Romanesque church of St. Wenceslaus from around the beginning of the 13th century, it was remodeled in the Baroque style in 1713 and after a fire in 1780. The main altar with sculptures from the workshop of O. Schweigel from 1805 and a painting by F. Werner from the same period is worth noting.
