Brno - plague column

It is located in the middle of Náměstí Svobody and was built in 1679 on the site of the old Marian column. The early Baroque column was designed by JK Erna. The statue of P. Marie on the top was made by F. Pflannder from Imst. At its four corners are statues of St. Sebastian, St. Rocha, St. Charles Borromeo and St. Francis Xavier and in the grotto of St. Rosalie.
